What we collect

roasted.gg has no user accounts. You never give us a password, an email, or access to your game account. When you look up a player, we fetch publicly available match statistics from third-party game data APIs (the same data any stats tracker can read) and cache the computed results temporarily so pages load fast.

Player lookups are stored in short-lived caches and in features like the Hall of Flame (which shows recently roasted public profiles). Your "recently viewed" list is stored only in your own browser's localStorage — it never leaves your device.

Analytics and logs

Our hosting provider collects standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) for security and performance. We use these only to operate the site.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies is described in Google's advertising policies. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. Where required (for example in the EEA and UK), a consent banner is shown before advertising cookies are set.

Third-party data sources

Game statistics are retrieved from public community APIs for the relevant game (for example, Valorant data via the HenrikDev API and Overwatch 2 data via the OverFast API, which read publicly visible profiles). If your game profile is set to private, we can't see it — and the roast stays private too.

Removal requests

Want your profile excluded from features like the Hall of Flame? Set your in-game profile to private, or send us a request and we'll remove cached entries.

Children

roasted.gg is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
